The First Thanksgiving took place in 1621 when the Pilgrims, who had sailed from England to America on the Mayflower, celebrated a successful harvest. To show their gratitude, the Pilgrims invited the Wampanoag to join them for a three-day feast. This gathering is now remembered as the First Thanksgiving, a time for friendship, sharing, and giving thanks.
