Are you looking for a fun activity to do the first week of school with your students to help everyone get to know each other? If so, this free 'Our Class is a Family' activity is perfect to use to help your students and staff get to know each other.
How to Use
- Open the document in Adobe Acrobat. It must be opened in Adobe Acrobat for the formatting options to be correct.
- Page 2 contains a front cover for your book. You can add words and/or images onto there if you wish.
- Pages 3-4 contains the page for your staff and students to draw and write on. The box requires a picture to be drawn (or a photograph to be stuck on) and then write the name underneath.
Pages 3-4 come blank. But if you want to add writing support, you can. On page 3 when you click and type in the text box a faint gray font will come up for students to easily overwrite. on page 4, when you click and type in the text box a dotted font will come up for students to overwrite. If you want them blank, just don’t add anything to the text boxes!
Print out enough pages for all of your staff and students and have your staff and students complete a page each. They can stick photographs of themselves or draw a picture of themselves along with writing their name. When everyone has completed their page, staple it together into a class book.
