Materials needed: Something to color with and dice.
This download contains a simple coloring activity to use in speech therapy sessions, in the classroom, in counseling, or just for fun!
To use: Give each student in the group a coloring page. The students will roll a die and color the part of the picture next to the number they rolled. The object of the game is to be the first one to color the groundhog (if you want it to be competitive). To make the game last longer, if the student rolls a number they have already colored, the turn is passed to the next student (they don’t get to color that round).
How I incorporate speech and language goals: Before each turn, the student will practice a target objective (# of trials per turn to be determined by the therapist). I use cards, apps, or other materials while using this activity.
