When most people think of a wedding, they envision a large, glamorous affair with hundreds of gifts, tons of flowers, and a full bridal party. Large weddings are the choice for many couples but they are expensive and can take up to one year or longer to plan. By saving money on the wedding, they can afford to have a much larger celebration afterwards. Since the reception is when the couple spends time with family and friends anyway, this would allow a fabulous sit-down dinner, magnificent decorations, and more people.
