Have you ever been to a wedding only to sit, watch, and listen with no idea of what is going on? This is a common occurrence at weddings and unfortunately, not a good thing. For example, you might be listening to the musicians, as they play a beautiful tune but without a wedding program, you have no idea the name of the song. Perhaps you watch the wedding party as they stand so nicely at the front of the church but again, without a program, you do not know their names.
While some people do not care to know everything going on, most people do. With a wedding program, guests would be able to connect with the wedding better by understanding the various aspects of the wedding. If you were planning your own wedding, you would honor your guests by providing them with a program.
The types of things that would normally be included on the wedding program would be the name of the bride and groom, the wedding party, the musicians, reader, minister, and so on. Additionally, the wedding program would identify the name of songs, the Bible verse being read, and other pertinent information. The wedding program is a nice touch to help your guests enjoy the wedding more.
